The Early Preschool Program at Wonderland Kids Academy is designed for three-year-olds who are ready for structured learning, social development, and early academic growth. Our program supports language, cognitive, and social skills in a calm, engaging classroom environment.
Curriculum & Learning
Our theme-based curriculum introduces foundational concepts through hands-on, age-appropriate activities:
• Early literacy and language development
• Letter recognition and pre-writing skills
• Numbers, counting, colors, and shapes
• Creative art, music, and storytelling
Activities strengthen focus, communication, and curiosity while keeping learning enjoyable.
Daily Routine & Classroom Structure
As the year progresses, the program becomes more structured to support:
• Consistent daily routines
• Group participation and cooperation
• Following directions and classroom expectations
Low teacher-to-child ratios allow for individualized attention and guidance.
Meals, Rest & Potty Learning
• Breakfast, lunch, and two healthy snacks are provided daily
• Children rest on individual cots during nap time in accordance with Illinois licensing
• Potty training is supported in partnership with families
• Parents provide diapers, wipes, or pull-ups as needed
Enrichment & Movement
Children participate in daily movement, outdoor play (weather permitting), and music activities that support coordination, confidence, and self-expression. Special music and art performances are included throughout the year.
Preparing for Preschool & Pre-K
This program helps children build strong routines, early academic skills, and social confidence — preparing them for the next stage of learning.
